Application for 2021 House Now Available

Kootenai Valley Partners is currently soliciting applications for partner families for our 2021 House Build. The chosen family will partner with us to help build their house, to close in the fall of 2021.

Application Requirements

Kootenai Valley Partners – Habitat for Humanity is proud to be building their next home in the summer of 2021! We are seeking interested families to apply. The family will be selected during the winter of 2019-20. Habitat for Humanity International has three requirements for partner families: 

  1. Must be in need of decent housing 
  2. Must be able to pay the no-interest mortgage 
  3. Must be willing to partner with HFH, which includes “sweat-equity” hours 

Additionally, once selected you must attend an 8 hour training on financial literacy and homebuyer/homeowner education (time contributes toward sweat equity hours) 

Orientation sessions for interested applicants will be held on January 14th and 21st, 7:00 pm at the following locations: 

  • January 14th: Christ Lutheran Church – 200 West Larch Street in Libby
  • January 21st: United Methodist Church – 713 3rd Street in Troy

  1. Information about the Habitat for Humanity program 
  2. The selection process 
  3. Requirements and expectations of a partner family 
  4. Opportunity for families to have questions answered 
  5. How to complete the application
